Dear Creator,

Please accept into your infinite love and care, these and
all others who have met with untimely deaths. We know
You put Us here to save as many as We could, but
sometimes We can't. We ask that You help Us to forgive
Ourselves for that perceived failure. They are so many and
We so few that the job seems enormous.

We thank you for bringing these beautiful souls into our
lives, even for a short time. Our lives are better and richer
for the experience. We can only hope their lives were, too.
As You welcome b>animal companion names removed, put
in your choice into Your loving embrace, be warned that all
those who have been loved by us and gone on before are
there to greet them, sooth any lingering fears and show
them the ropes. So You may find Yourself surrounded by a
sea of fur. But You created them and We know that You
love them.

If You send these sweet souls out again, please send
them to people who will love them all their days and care
for them properly. And whisper to their new parents that
these are special, old souls who have volunteered to grace
their lives for a time. Comfort them when these special
souls come back to you again.

Sometimes I wonder if You cry when You see what a mess
this world is. Yet I know without sorrow, one cannot
identify joy, without failure, one cannot identify success,
without fear, one cannot identify love. The darkness serves
only to remind us that there is light in the world, beautiful
souls working hard, often unknown and unlauded, to make
this world a better place. And that light is the most
beautiful thing in all the world.

Please tell animal companion names removed, put in your
choice that we love them. And we love You.
