| and you loved me.... You were my best bud, my pal, my shadow, my foot warmer, my coffee and M&M thief. You could charm anything from me with that look. You guarded the fort, never complained all those lonely days left to watch over the guys, caring for your charges with purpose and bravery; though the look on your face in the rear view mirror still haunts me, another day alone... While Papa and I went searching for our new home. The happiest day of your life was when we moved to the farm, the great adventure was about to begin. And though I was never able to fulfill the hopes and dreams I had for us it wasn't because I didn't try. The only hope I hold for the remainder of my days is that when we meet again I will be able to complete that dream. We will have warm sunny days of walking through the fields, chasing the bunnies and sniffing the good sniffies... Long walks, lots of them. Wait for me Gagey Boy, one more time.
