Folks are blessed who make the best of every day

Everyone who needs the sun must find the way,
and I have found the only thing for me.
Why mess around with strife
I never was cut out to step & strut out
give me the simple life.
Some find it pleasant dining on pheasant.
Those things roll off my knife.
Just serve me tomatoes and mashed potatoes.

A cottage small is all I'm after.
Not one that's spacious and wide.
A house that rings with joy and laughter.
And the one you love inside.

I like the low road.
Free from the care and strife
Sounds corny and seedy; but yes, in-deedy,
I like the simple life.
Life could be thrilling,
with one who's willing,
to be a farmer's wife.
Kids, calling me pappy,
sure make me happy.

| BE KIND... Not because you should, but because you CAN... Is it really necessary to write/say something on the internet or in emails that you know will hurt someone when it is far kinder to just shut the f**k up??? I guess so. Because that's what I see so often, people who just have to say "it". After three years it has not changed. I'd rather not be a part of that... How 'bout this: next time you are angry or upset while on your computer, shut it off and go pull some weeds. Then decide if what you want to write/say is worth destroying friendships that cannot be repaired. JMHO (I'm guessing those who designed the above avatars had similar experiences to the ones I've had.) Be Kind... please, it's not so hard. If you can't be kind, just shut up. I really used to like the internet, now I spend more time off this computer than on it. Like the old days. Life goes in cycles. It's nice to vent down here cause no one will read it but me. People can't be bothered with scrolling to the bottom of the page anymore. Great place to hide stuff. |

| I find it kinda funny/sad/interesting/understandable that people tell you how much they will miss you if you go, but when you do,their lives go on, they fall back into step with their world and continue on. It's almost like you were never there. That is how it should be. It is human, it is how we survive life's bumpy spots. |
